Katsuji Koizumi
Born in Tokyo from 1883 to 1945. Studied under Motoaki Yuki. He left behind Seimei, landscape paintings, and bird-and-flower paintings with elaborate depictions. His representative works are "Tousei" and "Sanko Asahun".
Izumi Tsuchioka
Born in Fukui Prefecture between 1891 and 1958. Studied under Somei Yuki and Katsuji Koizumi. Raises many birds and makes friends with bird lovers. Not only did he excel in bird-and-flower painting, but he was also active as a member of the Japan Bird Society.
